How much are the shipping costs?
Within Germany, many orders are shipped free of charge. We charge a flat rate of €5.90 for the shipping of your order within Germany and shipping is free for you from an order value of €75.
The free shipping offer applies to standard shipping. The value of the goods after a possible return is decisive. If the value of the goods falls below €75 as a result of exercising your right of withdrawal, the shipping postage of €5.95 will be charged and offset against your refund for the return.
Bulky goods shipping costs of €19.95 may apply for individual items that exceed the standard package size. These will be calculated at check-out.

A charger for the whole household that looks like it belongs there.
Cylindric UX1 charges four devices at once over USB-C, sharing up to 165 watts. A single port delivers up to 100 of them, enough for a large notebook. All of it sits in a cylinder just under ten centimetres tall that can stand on a sideboard rather than disappear under a desk.
Four devices, one charger
Most homes now own more chargers than sockets. The UX1 replaces four of them. Notebook, tablet, phone and headphones hang off one device that itself occupies a single socket.
The power distributes automatically. One device alone gets up to 100 watts. Two devices get 100 and 60. Four devices get 45, 45, 30 and 30. Nothing to set, the UX1 works it out.
Why GaN matters
Gallium nitride instead of silicon lets power supplies be built far smaller and run cooler. That is why 165 watts fit into a housing 6.5 centimetres across. A conventional supply at this rating would be several times the size.
All four ports run Power Delivery 3.1 and are protected against overvoltage, overcurrent, overheating and short circuits.
The colour system
Jet Black, Sand, Pale Pink, Electric Orange and Mist White, each with a colour-matched braided cable. The brand's colour system follows Le Corbusier's Architectural Polychromy and runs across the whole Cords range.
Because the UX1 stands upright and usually stays in view, colour counts for more here than on a flat device. On a dark sideboard Jet Black disappears; on a pale shelf Electric Orange becomes an object.
Build
Polycarbonate housing with 50 per cent recycled content, matte, with no markings on the visible face. The braided mains cable measures 1.8 metres. Tested to CE, TÜV, RoHS and REACH; the design is registered as EU design right 015090050-0002.

A single port delivers up to 100 watts, which charges any USB-C notebook including large 16-inch models. Only if you plug in three further devices at the same time does the notebook drop to 45 watts.

Do I need to supply my own cables?
Yes, charging cables are not included. The A1 USB-C cables from Cords are colour-matched to the UX1 and come in one and two metres.
How large is the UX1?

Does it get warm?
Every power supply warms up under full load. Thanks to GaN the UX1 does so noticeably less than silicon supplies at the same output, and an overheating protection circuit is built in.
